Operate forklifts and manage warehouse movements at Phoenix Contact’s Distribution Centre Canada in Milton. Pick and pack products accurately while using RF scanners and established procedures.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver supports inbound receiving, inventory accuracy, customer-order picking, and outbound packing. The position requires independent work with little supervision and solid communication with associates. Daily activities include checking quantities, product quality, paperwork, locations, and shipment instructions. You will help maintain Phoenix Contact standards across warehouse transactions and stock areas.
Key Responsibilities: Drive forklifts and unload trucks using proper tools safely
Receive products, verify quantities, quality, and incoming paperwork
Put stock away correctly using assigned locations and procedures
Pick customer orders according to assigned priorities and pick lists
Pack products and release outbound shipments following instructions
Requirements: High School Diploma
Previous warehouse experience, if any
Valid forklift license and reverse walkie or electric pump truck experience
Ability to use an RF scanner and basic computer skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
