Support Toronto’s sports and entertainment brands as an Accounting Intern with MLSE, applying Excel, data analysis, and accounting fundamentals. Work hybrid during regular weekday business hours.
This full-time internship reports to the Director, Accounting, and offers hands-on exposure to core finance functions. Assist with ticketing, global partnerships, and live events while communicating with finance team members and cross-functional departments. The work includes journal entries, reconciliations, contract analysis, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities: Journalize live event suite settlements
Journalize Ticketmaster advances
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Analyze Salesforce contracts month-over-month
Assist with special projects when needed
Requirements: Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Microsoft Office Suite experience
Excel VLOOKUP and pivot table skills considered an asset
Robust written and verbal communication
Availability for regular weekday shifts
Develop technical accounting capabilities through live event settlements, Ticketmaster advances, reconciliations, and cross-functional finance communication.
