Maintain automated dairy equipment with Saputo as a Licensed Electrician, applying electromechanical troubleshooting and PLC knowledge. The schedule runs Wednesday through Saturday, afternoons and nights.
As Maintenance, Licensed Electrician, you will work directly with equipment and operators, then rebuild and repair systems in the shop. Your work supports high-speed filling, pasteurizing, packaging, and conveying operations. The position also includes instrumentation, automation, electrical modifications, and preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain high-speed automated packaging equipment
Rebuild and repair equipment in the maintenance shop
Carry out electrical equipment modifications
Read drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Communicate consistently with plant personnel and departments
Requirements: Hold 442A Industrial Electrician qualification and Red Seal certification
Three years of industrial or manufacturing electromechanical experience
One year of food, dairy, process, or packaging experience
Understand electrical, mechanical, and provincial safety codes
Know PLC controls, programming, and instrumentation principles
Bring advanced electromechanical aptitude, PLC knowledge, and high-speed equipment troubleshooting skills to Saputo’s dairy facility.
