TVDSB seeks an Early Childhood Educator for a 10 month position serving four and five year olds. You will plan developmentally appropriate activities, observe children’s development, and help maintain a healthy physical, emotional, and social learning environment. The position includes seven hours daily, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities: Plan developmentally appropriate Kindergarten activities with the teacher
Implement activities reflecting children’s developmental continuum
Observe, monitor, and assess children’s development
Promote healthy physical, emotional, and social learning environments




Maintain children’s records and communicate with families when required
Requirements: Completed two year Early Childhood Education College Diploma
Current registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
Knowledge of ELECT would be an asset
Knowledge of Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten Program
Knowledge of The Kindergarten Program, 2016
Bring early childhood education expertise and cooperative kindergarten practice to support children’s development at TVDSB.
