Lead corporate communications for Explore Edmonton, using strategic planning and executive communications to connect employees and external audiences. This role combines office, event, and partner-facing work.
Reporting to the Director, Communications & Connections, the Manager leads the corporate communications function and Communications Advisors. You will support three portfolios through communications planning, key messages, speechwriting, media relations, presentations, and employee communications. The role advances clarity, consistency, and purpose across Explore Edmonton.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and mentor Communications Advisors across three portfolios
Develop corporate communications strategies supporting priorities and reputation
Advise senior leaders on communications opportunities, risks, and recommendations
Oversee speeches, presentations, announcements,



Q&A;, and media materials
Lead employee communications supporting change and organizational connection
Requirements: Diploma or undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field
At least five years of related experience
Expertise in planning, writing, editing, media relations, and speechwriting
Solid leadership, coaching, project management, and organizational skills
Ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion and sound judgement
Bring strategic judgement, executive communications expertise, and people leadership to Explore Edmonton’s corporate communications function.
