You will combine user research, service design, interaction design, and evidence-based iteration for complex digital products. The position supports employees and partners using AI-enabled mortgage workflows with confidence.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct interviews, observation, surveys, and usability testing with workflow users
Map journeys, service blueprints, handoffs, pain points, and exception paths
Create flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready interaction specifications
Design understandable AI outputs, review paths, overrides, and error recovery




Measure usability, adoption, comprehension, trust, and satisfaction outcomes
Requirements: Five-plus years delivering complex digital products through production
Portfolio showing research, workflow design, prototyping, and usability testing
Advanced Figma or comparable design and prototyping proficiency
Knowledge of information architecture, design systems, and engineering documentation
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related discipline
Bring AI experience design, mortgage workflow research, and interaction design expertise to First National’s Toronto product squad.
