Build holistic financial strategies as a Senior Financial Planner in Meridian’s hybrid Barrie market branches, using discovery and trusted advice.
As part of Meridian Wealth, you will help Members pursue personal goals through investments, retirement, estate planning, risk management, and basic tax strategies. You will manage Member portfolios, develop relationships, and coordinate with internal partners to support financial peace of mind. This role also contributes to branch wealth growth.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct discovery meetings and recommend Member financial action plans
Review objectives and reassess plans after relevant changes
Educate Members on investments, costs, risks, and options
Develop new business through branch and community relationships




Prepare investment reports, document summaries, and income projections
Requirements: Minimum seven years’ financial planning or advisory experience
Mandatory PFP or CFP designation
IIROC licensing and necessary securities registrations
Robust business development and relationship-building abilities
Ability to travel between branches and manage flexible schedules
Bring broad-based planning, portfolio advice, and relationship development skills to Meridian Wealth’s Senior Financial Planner role.
