Fraser Health seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in General Procedures and Cardiac Sonography. The work includes abdominal, obstetrical, pelvic, peripheral vascular, small parts, and echocardiography examinations. You will prepare patients, enter diagnostic imaging data, review images, and support safe procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Perform general, vascular, and echocardiography ultrasound examinations
Prepare patients and explain procedures while monitoring comfort
Acquire, label, archive, and assess diagnostic images




Assist radiologists and cardiologists during procedural room activities
Monitor patients, equipment performance, and examination quality
Requirements: Graduate of recognized cardiac and general sonography programs
Certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS
Sonography Canada certification and completed CCSA assessment accepted
Intravenous Therapy training or applicable IV Therapy experience
Knowledge of PACS, aseptic technique, CPR, and protected equipment use
Apply cardiac sonography, Doppler imaging, and patient-care expertise as a casual Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
