Support patients and families through complex psychiatric care at Providence Care Hospital as a full-time Registered Nurse using professional nursing expertise.
The RN provides direct qualified nursing care for patients requiring complex mental health services. This position develops therapeutic relationships, follows prescribed medical regimes, and revises care plans through evaluation. Collaboration with patients, families, and the clinical team supports maximum independence and wellness.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct professional nursing care for complex mental health patients
Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families
Record comprehensive, goal-oriented nursing care plans
Recognize and interpret deviations from predicted responses
Revise care plans using autonomous professional judgment
Requirements: Unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Recent acute psychiatric setting experience
Current CPR certification
BSc.N. preferred
Use psychiatric nursing experience, clinical assessment, and autonomous decision-making to support patients at Providence Care Hospital.
