As a Mortgage Specialist, you will build referral networks, identify sales opportunities, and guide customers through mortgage processing. The work requires mortgage lending knowledge, negotiation, and strong customer service. You will collaborate with branch teams and BMO partners to complete documentation and fulfill applications.
Key Responsibilities: Build relationships generating mortgage referrals and originations
Guide customers through application and processing activities
Identify cross-sell, up-sell, and referral opportunities
Develop marketing and sales programs supporting business results
Document updates and resolve or escalate customer issues
Requirements: Three to five years of relevant experience typically
Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
In-depth mortgage lending and regulatory requirements knowledge
Solid interpersonal, sales, negotiation, and customer service skills
In-depth analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
