This Municipal Engineer role sits within the Municipal Infrastructure Group and Engineering, Design and Project Management Division. You will manage complex design packages, prepare technical deliverables, and maintain compliance with standards, budgets, schedules, and quality requirements. Technical guidance is central.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver civil and utility projects through detailed design
Develop engineering calculations, presentations, and contract packages
Ensure design compliance with standards and construction requirements




Coordinate project execution with clients and stakeholders
Provide technical leadership to engineering and CAD staff
Requirements: Seven or more years of civil engineering experience
Strong municipal infrastructure and utility design focus
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
British Columbia Skilled Engineer license required
AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and valid Driver’s License
Use civil design software, construction knowledge, and technical leadership to deliver municipal engineering packages with AtkinsRéalis in Western Canada.
