Use CGL, Auto, and Personal Liability knowledge to assess casualty claims for Chubb in Toronto, Ontario. This is a full time claims adjusting position.
The Senior Claim Specialist handles commercial and personal liability claims ranging from low to moderate severity. Responsibilities span proactive investigations, supporting documentation, coverage verification, loss assessment, reserves, and outside vendor oversight. Solid communication supports relationships with brokers, insureds, underwriting departments, and claims core while customer service remains central.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct proactive investigations across all claim aspects
Secure and assess documentation affecting claim quantum
Maintain accurate reserves reflecting investigation and assessment




Manage independent adjusters and other outside experts
Maintain active diaries and required file reporting
Requirements: Two to three years of previous claim experience
Good knowledge of the insurance business
Excellent organizational and independent follow-up skills
Aptitude for technical, detail-oriented work
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Bring casualty adjusting, documentation review, reserve management, and investigation capabilities to Chubb’s claims team.
