MRI scanning and patient safety define this permanent full time role at Humber River Health’s Wilson site. Work rotating eight-hour shifts.
As an MRI Technologist, you will support the Medical Imaging team at Humber River Health. The position requires recent clinical MRI experience, MRI safety knowledge, and strong communication. You will scan varied cases, prepare patients, complete image review, and present examinations through PACS for radiologist reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Scan neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, angiographic, and breast cases
Complete MRI safety screening and obtain contrast consent
Confirm exam validity and resource radiologists when necessary
Review images and confirm examination documentation
Present completed examinations to radiologists through PACS
Requirements: CMRITO registration as an MRI Technologist
MRT and MRI certification
Recent clinical MRI experience
IV certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support maintenance
Cross-sectional anatomy knowledge and independent work ability
Apply MRI expertise, safety practices, patient preparation, and PACS skills within Humber River Health’s Medical Imaging team.
