This Pipefitter works within Domtar’s Mechanical Maintenance department at the Port Mellon facility. Candidates need Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Pipefitter or Gasfitter certification and five or more industrial experience. Experience with water and waste disposal systems, component repairs, and industrial troubleshooting is required.
Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
Install and service water disposal systems
Repair waste disposal system components
Diagnose equipment and system problems
Complete disassembly and reassembly work
Requirements: Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Pipefitter certification
Gasfitter certification accepted for the position
Five or more years working within industry
Ability to work independently or within teams
Robust communication and interpersonal abilities
Use your industrial pipefitting, diagnostic, and blueprint skills to support Howe Sound Pulp and Paper’s Port Mellon facility.
