Operate loaders and attachments at SECURE in Edmonton, Alberta, supporting protected yard operations with equipment checks, maintenance, and communication.
SECURE seeks an experienced, safety-minded Heavy Equipment Operator for a full-time permanent yard-based position. You will operate loaders with fork and bucket attachments while following operating standards and safety procedures. The schedule runs Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities: Operate loaders and equipment using safe work practices
Conduct walk-arounds, pre-operational checks, and safety inspections
Clean, lubricate, and refill equipment tanks
Secure special attachments and operate two-way radios
Report repair needs and complete minor equipment repairs
Requirements: Two years of equipment operation experience
At least 5,000 hours in heavy equipment operations
Grade 12 or GED
Shredder experience is an asset
Physical fitness for required heavy labour
Bring loader operation, attachment handling, and safety experience to SECURE’s Edmonton yard and equipment operations team.
