This Capture Device Operations Engineer role focuses on dependable systems for humanoid and embodied AI data collection. You will validate configurations, investigate recording and transfer problems, and distinguish hardware, software, configuration, and operator faults. You will also turn recurring fleet failures into clearer checks, procedures, and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities: Validate capture devices before deployment and after return
Investigate recording, synchronization, storage, and transfer failures
Use logs, measurements, and physical testing to isolate faults




Track recurring failures and verify corrective actions
Guide operators and partners through technical issues
Requirements: Three to four years supporting embedded, camera, robotics, or connected equipment
Linux skills across processes, services, filesystems, and network diagnostics
Python or shell scripting for device checks
Ability to prioritize issues by operational impact
Explicit technical communication with varied users
