Facility Association insurance underwriting meets broker guidance, risk analysis, and commercial lines expertise at Intact’s Nordic team.
As a Level I Commercial Lines Underwriter, you will support Nordic’s Facility Association mission for customers outside voluntary auto insurance. Underwrite diverse risk classes while applying rules, rates, underwriting guides, and best practices. The permanent hybrid position includes at least two days per week in Dartmouth.
Key Responsibilities: Apply Facility Association rules when underwriting and rating policies
Provide technical advice, recommendations, and colleague mentoring
Communicate requirements, dependencies, and outcomes clearly
Maintain current commercial lines underwriting guides knowledge




Strengthen objectives through trend analysis and feedback
Requirements: Experience with IRCA and/or public vehicles insurance required
Progress toward the CIP designation is an asset
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Initiative and effectiveness working under pressure
Ability to work independently and within teams
Bring commercial lines judgment, Facility Association awareness, and underwriting communication skills to Nordic’s Dartmouth-based team.
