Humber River Health seeks a Registered Nurse for 13 West Oncology, supporting cancer treatment with patient-centred care at the Wilson Site. Rotating shifts apply.
This temporary part-time nursing position serves patients throughout their cancer experience, including treatment, follow-up, palliative, and supportive care. You will administer medications, fluids, and chemotherapy, with hospital-provided chemotherapy teaching and certification. The work includes care planning, computerized documentation, resource leadership, and collaboration with patients, families, visitors, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate oncology care with multidisciplinary team members
Administer medications, fluids, and cancer treatments
Use computerized systems to document patient care




Provide resource or team leader responsibilities
Mentor new nursing staff and precept nursing students
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario Registered Nurse registration
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Two years of recent oncology experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive patient assessment skills and required attendance record
Support cancer patients through treatment with oncology nursing, assessment, documentation, and care coordination at Humber River Health.
