Support critical care and respiratory services in Owen Sound through therapeutic procedures, diagnostic care, and complex equipment quality control.
Brightshores Health System seeks a part time, temporary Respiratory Therapist for a direct replacement assignment. Reporting to the Manager, Critical Care and Respiratory Services, you will support patients with varied heart and lung disorders. The position includes clinical care, equipment maintenance, teaching, and departmental collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver therapeutic care for diverse heart and lung disorders
Perform diagnostic procedures for patients across clinical areas
Maintain quality control of complex respiratory equipment
Teach patients and adults using clear clinical communication




Participate in meetings and departmental or corporate projects
Requirements: Registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
Recent acute or critical care inpatient experience
Current BCLS and NRP certification
Ability to work in Sleep Lab and other services
Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision making skills
Use respiratory therapy knowledge, critical thinking, and collaboration to provide optimal patient care throughout Brightshores Health System.
