This senior-level position helps safeguard corporate assets while supporting the Finance team’s reporting and operational needs. You will partner with the Controller and organizational teams on general ledger integrity, capital asset accounting, commodity tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements. Robust analytical skills, accuracy, and process improvement experience are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities: Support general ledger and capital asset accounting integrity
Complete commodity tax filings and core accounting functions
Strengthen internal controls and continuous improvement initiatives




Prepare audit working papers and respond to inquiries
Maintain accounting procedures and operational best practices
Requirements: Five-plus years of progressive accounting experience
Senior-level accounting experience with leadership exposure preferred
CPA designation required or currently pursuing
Knowledge of accounting standards, controls, and best practices
Ability to identify improvements and implement practical solutions
Bring technical accounting, compliance, controls, and problem-solving expertise to East Penn Canada’s Finance team in Courtice.
