This temporary full time Coordinator supports Youth Short Term Assessment and Response operations for Island Health. The position provides leadership to multidisciplinary staff, coordinates service activities, and addresses issues affecting patient care quality. It also contributes to operating plans, policies, budgets, and organizational development.

Requirements: Master's degree from an approved post-secondary institution
Recent related experience including clinical and supervisory practice
Knowledge of mental health and alcohol addiction issues
Current registration with the applicable professional practice body
Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, and critical-thinking skills
Bring operational leadership, budget management, and clinical coordination skills to Island Health's Port Alberni program.
