Apply journeyman painting expertise to Abbotsford School District facilities, preparing surfaces and painting interiors and exteriors in Abbotsford. This is a Monday-to-Friday schedule.
This unionized, 12-month continuing position is based at the Facilities building on King Road. Under the Foreman—Painter, you will perform technical painting work under limited supervision. The assignment includes job evaluation, preparation, paint application, graphics, wallpaper, troubleshooting, and service calls.
Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and prepare interior and exterior painting job sites
Apply paint, graphics, and wallpaper throughout District facilities
Troubleshoot painting problems and repair available solutions
Respond to service calls as required
Maintain equipment,



supplies, records, and preventative maintenance reports
Requirements: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Current British Columbia or Interprovincial Painting Trades Qualification
Minimum three years of recent trades-related experience
Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver’s Licence
Working knowledge of WHMIS and WorkSafeBC safety regulations
Bring qualified painting experience, technical judgment, and safety awareness to maintain Abbotsford School District facilities throughout the year.
