Support cardiac and vascular patients as a Physiotherapist at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, with acute care and interprofessional practice.
Unity Health Toronto seeks a Physiotherapist for its Heart, Lung and Vascular Program. The permanent full time position serves inpatients across Cardiac/Vascular, Cardiology and CVICU/CICU, with commitments to MSICU, General Surgery and Nephrology. You will assess movement and function, provide physiotherapy interventions, educate patients and families, and support rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities: Provide physiotherapy services across cardiac, vascular, cardiology and intensive care units
Collaborate with interprofessional disciplines to provide comprehensive patient care
Educate patients, families, staff and academic community members




Participate in quality improvement and organizational research activities
Deliver anti-oppressive, accessible care meeting professional standards
Requirements: Current good-standing registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Master’s Degree or substantial equivalent in Physiotherapy
Current BLS certification or completion during probation
Preferred one to two years acute medical, surgical or ICU experience
Excellent communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
