As Maintenance Manager, you oversee residence maintenance, equipment, furnishings, and surrounding areas. You plan preventative maintenance, coordinate vendors, and lead maintenance and housekeeping staff. Your work aligns physical conditions with Chartwell Brand and Health & Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement preventative maintenance for systems and facilities
Respond promptly to repairs in resident and common areas
Service fixtures and prepare residential units
Coordinate vendor work and manage external service providers
Participate in Health & Safety initiatives and Manager on Duty rotation
Requirements: One to three years’ supervisory experience
Extensive building maintenance and systems experience
Hands-on repair and vendor coordination abilities
Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
Versatile availability for on-call and varied hours
Bring maintenance leadership, customer service, and safety knowledge to Chartwell’s residence operations while supporting residents, staff, and vendors.
