Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Director supports CAE’s enterprise mandate to identify and unlock above-market growth. The role provides dedicated defense-domain depth within the corporate strategy team. Its work spans portfolio evolution, capital and capability allocation, adjacencies, and build, buy, or partner decisions.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze Defense market growth and quantify portfolio gaps
Evaluate where CAE should allocate capital and capability
Assess Defense adjacencies for potential market entry
Analyze build, buy, or partner alternatives




Support Defense portfolio evolution for above-market growth
Requirements: Experience developing portfolio strategy within the Defense domain
Ability to perform analytical and transactional strategy work
Capability to evaluate capital and capability allocation
Understanding of market adjacencies and enterprise portfolio choices
Ability to collaborate within a corporate strategy team
