Apply medical editing expertise at BGBx, maintaining factual accuracy and AMA style for pharmaceutical and life science marketing materials. Work Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM ET.
The Medical Editor protects editorial integrity across assigned accounts and reports to an Editorial Supervisor. You will fact-check scientific data, apply client style, follow FDA rules, and ensure grammatical accuracy. The role also supports after-hours and weekend editorial coverage.
Key Responsibilities: Edit marketing materials for accuracy, style, grammar, and consistency
Fact-check scientific and medical copy against source data
Review formatting, visual layout, and editorial changes
Create and maintain comprehensive account style guides
Track workloads, deadlines, time, and account status
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in English, life sciences, or related field
Two to three years’ medical education experience preferred
Familiarity with AMA style and FDA regulations
Knowledge of proofing and editing symbols
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication platforms
Bring scientific fact-checking, editorial judgment, and regulatory knowledge to BGBx medical marketing work.
