Canadian Surgery Solutions, a Clearpoint Health Network division, seeks a Registered Nurse for extended-stay care. The RN assesses, treats, and educates patients recovering from surgical procedures. This work requires critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, and collaboration with healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct care to post-surgical orthopedic patients
Complete routine vital signs and patient rounds
Start intravenous lines for patients
Document patient care in medical records
Apply infection control and medication regulations
Requirements: Complete an accredited nursing education program
Bring two to three years recent acute-care experience
Hold an active CRNA practice permit
Maintain valid BLS-HCP and ACLS certification
Manage patient lifting, transfers, crutches, and walkers
Use orthopedic bedside nursing, assessment, and communication skills as an extended-stay Registered Nurse at Canadian Surgery Solutions.
