Apply PLC/HMI programming, troubleshooting, and control architecture skills with Lauren Services in a hybrid Intermediate Engineer position.
This Intermediate Instrumentation and Controls Engineer supports industrial projects across Oil & Gas, Power, and Petrochemical sectors. The position requires a valid P.Eng designation and at least eight years of instrumentation and controls engineering experience. You will contribute to control system integration, panel design, vendor reviews, and field execution.
Key Responsibilities: Develop control panel layouts and architecture diagrams
Program and troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems
Review vendor documentation against control requirements
Prepare material specifications, data sheets, and bid evaluations
Support commissioning and start-up through field activities
Requirements: Minimum eight years in Oil & Gas or EPCM environments
Qualified Engineer designation in good standing
Strong PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting experience
Control system architecture and integration experience
Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or GE/Emerson experience is beneficial
