Lead Ocean Choice’s offshore fishing fleet through strategic planning, marine safety, and operational performance across Atlantic Canada’s seafood business.
As General Manager, Fleet Operations, you will provide senior leadership for vessel operations, technical and engineering functions, crewing, and fleet administration. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and President, you will coordinate experienced Fleet leaders. The position supports safe, productive, and effective fleet performance.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Fleet leaders and establish priorities, objectives, and performance expectations
Develop annual and longer-term Fleet plans aligned with corporate objectives
Evaluate performance, financial results, and key performance indicators
Oversee operating and capital planning, maintenance, refits, and upgrades




Report Fleet priorities, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
Requirements: 10+ years of progressive marine or offshore fishing leadership experience
Senior management experience leading operational performance and business results
Financial acumen managing budgets, cost control, and capital projects
Knowledge of marine safety, regulations, and Safety Management Systems
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
Apply fleet leadership, financial judgment, and marine safety expertise to Ocean Choice’s complex offshore fishing operations.
