Support live events with The Festival of Animated Objects as an Assistant Producer in Calgary, coordinating artists, venues, and technical requirements. Work remotely and in person.
This contract supports the organization’s 14th Festival of Animated Objects. You will report to Managing Producer Cosmo Christoffersen while contributing to event support, volunteer management, documentation, grant assistance, and artist communication. The anticipated commitment is five to ten hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities: Support live events and oversee technical requirements
Communicate with artists and venues
Recruit and schedule Festival volunteers
Document programming and update digital channels
Proofread grant applications and assist submissions
Requirements: Availability during the Launch Party and Festival
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Arts administration or live event producing experience
Bring organized event support, transparent communication, and arts administration experience to Calgary’s Festival of Animated Objects.
