School District 72 seeks temporary Feeding Future School Support staff for Cortes Island School. Reporting to school and Feeding Futures administrators, you will support breakfast, lunch, and snack programs. The work includes menu preparation, cooking, inventory, deliveries, and budget review.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare nutritionally balanced lunch menus using established standards
Cook and assemble meals, breakfasts, and snacks
Maintain inventory and place replenishment orders
Receive deliveries and verify goods
Maintain clean, orderly equipment and supplies
Requirements: Six months’ experience working with children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management skills
Completed Food Secure certificate is an asset
Basic first aid knowledge is an asset
Support Cortes Island students through meal preparation, food safety, inventory control, and dependable school program service.
