As a Staff Security Engineer, you will architect high-precision detections and automate security operations across Fullscript’s cloud, identity, endpoint, and application ecosystems. You will establish coverage for prompt injection, tool misuse, and data exfiltration patterns. Success includes measurable detection quality, practical automation, and solid partnerships with Engineering and Platform teams.
Key Responsibilities: Own detection rules from authoring through tuning and retirement
Measure coverage, precision, and time-to-detect performance
Build tooling for identity resolution and log correlation




Automate alert handoffs into ticketing workflows
Create leadership dashboards for volume, response, and trends
Requirements: 8+ years shaping detection or security engineering strategy
Strong automation skills using Python, JavaScript, or similar
Experience with SOAR-style workflow automation platforms
Security controls as code experience, such as Terraform
Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK; and tuned detections
Use detection engineering, security automation, and AI threat knowledge to strengthen Fullscript’s measurable defensive capabilities.
