The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo seeks a Supervisor, Wastewater with municipal leadership experience. The position guides wastewater operations and maintenance, develops employees, and supports departmental strategies. It also oversees licensing, reporting, legislation, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise, mentor, coach, and support assigned team members
Plan workloads and coordinate processes to maintain service levels
Lead operating licence renewal and submit annual operating reports
Ensure plants follow legislation, standards, and safety requirements




Support maintenance teams and departmental improvement initiatives
Requirements: Diploma in Environmental Science or related field
Wastewater Treatment Level III certification
Seven years municipal wastewater experience, including three leadership years
Knowledge of wastewater equipment, processes, legislation, and standards
Valid Class 5 Operator’s Licence and willingness to work outdoors
