This Dietary Aide performs wide-ranging duties within a food service operation. Work includes serving meals, preparing beverages and toast, and maintaining clean dishes and utensils. Adanac Park Lodge provides specialized long-term care for younger adults with complex health and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities: Portion and serve meals within the food service operation
Wash and peel vegetables and fruit
Prepare tea, coffee, toast, and other items
Wash dishes and utensils after food service
Support Patient Food services at Adanac Park Lodge
Requirements: Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
Successful completion of Food Safe I
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to organize work and operate related equipment
Physical ability to carry out position duties
Bring food preparation, meal service, organization, and communication skills to Vancouver Coastal Health’s Patient Food team in Vancouver.
