Build Homebase’s core products as a Senior Software Engineer, using reliable code and AI-first workflows to improve Scheduling, HRM, and Payroll.
On the Core Product team, you will lead projects end to end at the E3 level. You will work with Product, Design, and Data while building tools used by small business owners and workers. Your work connects Scheduling, Time Tracking, HRM, and Payroll.
Key Responsibilities: Design, build, launch, and support cross-domain product features
Deliver reliable, testable, maintainable code
Lead implementation, estimates, and delivery for components and services
Use AI tools across design, coding, testing, and reviews
Mentor engineers and advance Homebase engineering standards
Requirements: Senior-level software engineering experience
Ability to own projects and shipped work end to end
Experience collaborating with Product, Design, and Data
Ability to apply human judgment to AI-assisted changes
Customer-focused approach to solving product problems
Bring senior software engineering, cross-functional leadership, and AI fluency to Homebase’s Scheduling, HRM, and Payroll products.
