Genevant seeks an experienced Director or Senior Director for its Legal team. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this hybrid Vancouver position supports contracts, licenses, and collaborations across the organization. You will work with Business Development, R&D;, Procurement, Finance, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Draft and negotiate research and development agreements
Manage software licenses and general administrative agreements
Support complex technology licenses and collaborations
Maintain contract management and lifecycle processes
Advise teams on commitments, risks, and priorities
Requirements: Juris Doctor from a recognized law school
Two to six years of relevant contracts experience
Contract negotiation and independent end-to-end management experience
British Columbia law license in good standing
Robust communication, analytical, and business judgment skills
Apply legal judgment and commercial contract expertise to Genevant’s technology transactions, collaborations, and research agreements in Vancouver.
