As a Forklift Operator, you will prepare loads and unload materials for delivery from the GMS Family of Locations. Your work supports scheduled shipments and customer demands while following company policies and regulations. The position requires propane certification, experience, and physical material handling.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare building-material orders for scheduled deliveries
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Check load contents for accuracy and secure products
Ensure shipments follow management instructions and schedules
Coordinate maintenance needs and report emerging issues
Requirements: Valid forklift certification for propane equipment
At least two years of experience
Basic mathematics and hand tool knowledge
Solid written and oral communication skills
Ability to climb stairs and drive for extended periods
