This bilingual Driver position involves transporting goods and materials by road. Candidates need one to less than two years of experience, or equivalent experience, and an other trades certificate or diploma. The work includes dispatch communication, cargo records, and vehicle oversight.
Key Responsibilities: Operate straight or articulated trucks transporting goods and materials
Inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and equipment
Complete brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
Record cargo, service hours, distance, and fuel consumption
Requirements: Class 1 or A driver's licence
One to less than two years' experience
Other trades certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience
Bilingual language ability in English or French
Long-haul transportation experience
Use Class 1 driving, roadside repair, inspection, and dispatch skills while transporting goods across long-haul routes.
