Provide professional nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse with AgeCare, supporting residents through individualized plans and direct care. This regular part time role reports to the Health and Wellness Manager.
You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for residents’ physical and emotional needs. The position includes supervising health care aides, coordinating multidisciplinary care, communicating with relatives, and supporting discharge planning. AgeCare has served seniors since 1998 across Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario.
Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing care according to established care plans
Supervise health care aides and provide direction
Coordinate resident care with multidisciplinary team members
Communicate with relatives about resident care and condition




Participate in discharge planning, transfers, and resident teaching
Requirements: Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long term nursing
Understanding of applicable retirement home and nursing legislation
Completed RPN program including medication administration coursework
Ontario or equivalent evaluated medication administration certificate
Bring nursing assessment, resident education, and care coordination skills to AgeCare’s regular part time Registered Practical Nurse position.
