Our client in Guelph is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. They are seeking someone who has been employed as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer with a low volume, high mix, CNC Machining manufacturing company.

Location: Guelph, Ontario. 100% On Site

Position Type: Full time, Permanent

Vacancy Status: This is an active vacancy

Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000 per year

Responsibilities
Involved with recent launches for CNC Machined products. This would include creating ECN’s.
Manage and maintain manufacturing data, including BOMs, routings, item masters, and process documentation to support production accuracy.
Lead engineering change management by interpreting customer drawings, GD&T;, and specifications while ensuring effective revision control and cross-functional communication.
Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection plans, control plans, work instructions, and first article documentation to support manufacturing excellence.
Design and implement tooling and fixturing solutions using SolidWorks, while evaluating equipment and process investments through cost-benefit analysis.




Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction, while providing technical support across production, quality, customers, and suppliers.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer while being employed with a low volume, high mix, CNC Machining company
Work experience with Solidworks or another 3D CAD application
Work experience reading GD&T; drawings and BOM’s; creating ECN’s
