Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Artistic Director / Producer leads the company’s artistic vision and business activities. This senior management role oversees programming, funding, resources, administration, and operations. The successful applicant brings leadership, arts administration, and creative problem-solving skills to a company producing innovative theatre and performance events.
Key Responsibilities: Select and schedule Theatre Yes programming
Generate and develop new theatrical material
Secure funding and prepare grant applications
Prepare budgets and oversee fiscal management




Represent Theatre Yes locally, provincially, and nationally
Requirements: Proven excellence developing and producing original Canadian work
Strong leadership and collaboration skills
Ability to plan theatre seasons from concept through realization
Working knowledge of Edmonton’s skilled theatre community
Understanding of Canadian Actors Equity and funding agencies
Bring artistic leadership, fundraising, budgeting, and production expertise to Theatre Yes and its Edmonton community of artists and audiences.
