Provide resident-centered care as a Health Care Aide at Bethany Riverview in Calgary, supporting daily living and resident independence during evening shifts.
This permanent, part time position serves residents, families, volunteers, and team members within the designated scope of practice. You will promote choices, maintain dignity, document observations, and support holistic resident needs. The role works cooperatively with interdisciplinary team members.
Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living
Follow resident care plans, policies, and procedures
Document and report care observations to nurses
Promote privacy, dignity, choices, and independence
Contribute to resident, team, and personal safety
Requirements: Grade 10 education and approved Health Care Aide certificate
Registration with the CLHA
Previous Health Care Aide experience preferred, not required
Effective English speaking, reading, and writing abilities
Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
