This educator leads programs supporting children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. You will organize activities from infant care through out-of-school care, maintain secure environments, and communicate with families. The work includes child-led learning through stories, music, games, art, dramatic play, and physical activity.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement child-care programs for children
Lead stories, songs, games, art, music, and physical activities
Maintain environments supporting children’s health, security, and well-being
Assess children’s abilities, interests, needs,



and progress
Guide eating, dressing, toilet habits, and hygiene routines
Requirements: Alberta Level 1 Child Development Certificate
Valid Standard Child Care or Level C First Aid certificate
Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check within six months
Knowledge of child development principles and early education practices
Ability to lift children and equipment up to 50 pounds
Bring creative communication, child development knowledge, and safety-first care to Kepler Academy’s Oxford childcare programs.
