Amica Senior Lifestyles is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to assist the Maintenance Coordinator with daily facility operations. The work includes maintaining cleanliness and grounds, repairing equipment, and supporting upkeep across the building and suites. Attention to detail, basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge are key.
Key Responsibilities: Support the Maintenance Coordinator with daily work orders
Repair equipment throughout the facility and suites
Complete painting and minor building touch ups
Inspect equipment, pool, and grounds daily
Perform fire safety and building security checks
Requirements: Minimum Grade 12 education
Fluency in oral and written English
Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repair knowledge
Basic understanding of hand tools and computers
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights
Bring equipment repair, inspection, and building maintenance skills to support daily operations at Amica Bayview Gardens.
