Lookout Housing and Health Society seeks a Cook reporting to the Site Manager. You will prepare, cook, and serve meals, snacks, and beverages while ensuring food availability after hours. The position also maintains kitchen, dining, storage, and equipment cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and serve daily meals, snacks, and beverages
Ensure food remains available for guests after hours
Maintain cleanliness across kitchen, dining, and storage areas
Follow menus and itemize required supplies
Work with and oversee kitchen volunteers
Requirements: Grade 12, Cooking Diploma, and two years’ related experience
Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 and FOODSAFE certificates
Experience with institutions, cost analysis, and effectiveness
Menu planning and order supply list development experience
Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Clearance
Bring cooking, organization, food safety, and cleanliness skills to support guests and daily meal service at Lookout.
