Health PEI seeks an in-patient Licensed Practical Nurse under Registered Nurse supervision. The successful candidate participates in care planning, applies infection control techniques, and supports patients' physical and emotional needs. This 40% temporary UPSE position runs immediately until January 1, 2027.
Key Responsibilities: Provide basic nursing care supporting patient comfort and well-being
Perform various treatment procedures under Registered Nurse supervision
Participate in nursing care plan development and implementation
Apply infection control techniques during patient care




Communicate effectively with nursing and allied health teams
Requirements: Complete an approved Licensed Practical Nurse course
Hold active or eligible Prince Edward Island nursing registration
Provide physical and emotional patient care effectively
Maintain current CPR/BCLS, TLR, WHIMIS, and All Hazards Codes
Demonstrate chronic illness knowledge, judgment, and communication skills
Support in-patient care at Health PEI with nursing expertise, infection control knowledge, and compassionate patient support in Alberton.
