This permanent UPS position supports package loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking. The role may involve heavy machinery and requires proper execution of UPS handling methods. Work takes place at Sunrise Ramp from Tuesday through Saturday, 0330 to 0830. The starting hourly rate is $18.50.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and properly execute UPS package handling methods
Load UPS packages into trailers or package cars
Unload UPS packages from trailers or package cars
Ship, receive, scan, sort, and stock packages
Utilize heavy machinery when completing assigned tasks
Requirements:
Lift up to 70 pounds or 32 kilograms
Read and memorize postal codes
Work versatile shift hours up to five days weekly
Warehouse experience preferred
Obtain a YVR RAIC and DA
Bring careful package handling, postal code accuracy, and lifting ability to UPS ramp operations in Vancouver.
