Lead Lids retail execution through sales expertise, customer service, and team training while supporting store performance and daily operations. The Assistant Store Manager serves as Manager on duty when the Store Manager is absent, addressing employee scheduling issues and customer complaints while guiding associates toward sales and task goals. This position supports Lids’ fan-driven retail experience through officially licensed headwear, apparel, and in-store customization. You will help maintain a fun, productive, respectful, and inclusive setting while following Lids Brand Standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities: Lead selling strategies to achieve key performance indicators and sales targets
Resolve customer feedback, escalations, and urgent requests in the moment
Manage associates through training,



goal setting, and regular follow-up
Schedule and staff the store when the Store Manager is absent
Open and close the store according to operations procedures
Requirements: Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss
Strong interpersonal skills and clear professional verbal communication
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to constantly stand during shifts
Support Lids customers and associates through sales leadership, store operations, training, and exceptional customer service.
