We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tyre Fitter to join a busy automotive preparation centre in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced operation and work within a professional workshop environment preparing vehicles to the required standards prior to delivery.
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who take pride in producing high-quality work and can work efficiently within a busy workshop.
The Role:
As a Tyre Fitter, your responsibilities will include:
Inspecting tyres for damage, wear, and tread depth
Removing and fitting tyres on a range of vehicles
Carrying out wheel balancing and tyre pressure checks
Ensuring all work is completed to company quality and safety standards
Identifying and reporting any vehicle defects or issues found during inspections
Supporting the wider workshop team when required
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised
The Person:
Previous experience working as a Tyre Fitter or Tyre Technician is essential
Good understanding of tyre fitting procedures and wheel balancing
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team
Reliable with a professional and hardworking attitude
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced workshop environment
Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
