Use MicroStation and AutoCAD to develop civil and structural substation drawings with ENTRUST Solutions Group in Calgary. This full time role follows a hybrid schedule.
As a Drafter Civil Structural Designer, you will support electric power delivery projects within ENTRUST Solutions Group Canada. The work includes structural steel detailing, fabrication drawings, connection design, foundation detailing, and interpreting electrical equipment drawings. You will collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering groups while following steel standards, codes, and customer drafting guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: Create structural steel design and fabrication drawings
Detail connections and check conflicts with support steel
Interpret equipment drawings for structural support systems




Prepare drawings meeting customer drafting standards
Detail pile cap layouts and foundations
Requirements: Three to seven plus years drafting with MicroStation and AutoCAD
Three plus years creating structural steel fabrication drawings
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent
Experience with three dimensional drafting preferred
Familiarity with high voltage substation structures preferred
Bring steel detailing, substation support, and drafting expertise to ENTRUST Solutions Group’s Calgary engineering projects.
